Thrunton Lowfield Caravan Site, Alnwick

Diana Vickers has opened her new caravan site at Thrunton Lowfield Farm and extends a warm welcome to those who previously visited her former home at Low Hedgeley.

Thrunton Lowfield Farm is located just off the A697 road to Coldstream and the Scottish Borders, three miles south of Powburn and six miles to the west of Alnwick.

The site is within easy travelling distance of all that north Northumberland has to offer – the market towns of Alnwick, Rothbury and Wooler, the Cheviot hills, heritage coastline and picturesque countryside.

Access to the farm is by a metalled road with a short, wide hardcore track to the site. It adjoins a pasture field with cattle grazing and enjoys wide ranging views to the north, south and west.

There are currently five grass pitches each with 16 amp EHU and water point.

Whilst the site is level with spacious pitches it is the intention to further develop the area with the addition of hedging and trees during 2026.

The tariff is £23 per night for stays of more than one night, one night only at £25. £2 for each additional adult/child.
Arrival 1.00 pm, departure 11 am please.

Pets are allowed with a maximum two dogs.

Sorry, tents are not accepted.

There are no showers or toilets on site but there is a discreetly sited compound with chemical disposal point, dustbins and recycling. Otherwise your own on-board facilities will be required.

The site is open all year round but is weather dependant during winter/early spring.
